it looks good...

But doesn't feel right. Adding a top half of the screen and a tracking camera makes your whole ship feel like it's wobbling uncontrollably and many accidental deaths follow. If the screen was one solid sidescrolling field instead of one that follows you around the goddamn place this game would be infinitely better.

huh

This is actually a pretty damn fun game, and executed quite well. Builds up a good sprit of challenge to beat the levels quickly.

My only real crit is that the levels start to feel bland with the low range of obstacles and fairly generic layouts, and that the boost powerup is near-on useless for anything but dying.

Overall though, I found this innovative and good to play.

I really

Don't like this at all. Most of the monsters are either rediculoulsy overpowered or underpowered, the controls feel utterly horrible - trying to jump with springy was impossible and eating with some of the other monsters was annoying and slow, freezing you for a couple of seconds while the enemies blasted your face, whereas lower level monsters could scarf them up - (and not being able to AVOID enemy attacks or sometimes even attack them back is such a colossal flaw I can't really do it justice). It looks 'good' graphically, but the animation is just basic stiff tweening you would see in any standard portal garbage and it completely wrecks the feel of the game. It looks like you've tried to 'stylise' the graphics and make them quirky and unique, but the result is more like a vularly-coloured baby's cartoon.

I really have no idea why people like this.

it's good, but...

I have two tiny little beefs with this game.

#1: the graphics and sound effects are so rediculously vulgar it's very easy to completely lose track of what's fucking going on on the screen,

and #2: accompanying complaint #1; WHY ISN'T THERE A FUCKING QUALITY ADJUST BUTTON?

it's

Actually quite a good idea, and it's well pulled off graphically - too bad I'm absolutely awful at geography, eh?

Either way, I still think this is a well-made mini-game.

a pretty neat idea!

I actually quite like the overall concept of this thing - the problem is, that it's both too simple in overall challenge and gameplay, and that it looks very bland.

I like the effort you put into coding so many powerups for a minigame, and the whole thing seems to run smoothly with no coding errors or glitches. If you were to make this look snazzier and add more facets of challenge to the game, this could be quite popular and addicting.

this was

Actually really nice!

The gameplay and graphics are both simple and well-used by game designers, but it feels fluid and by adding acheivements that (mainly) don't force you to go out of your way to do pointless tasks while giving such statisfaction, it's very playable in general.
I like the way the different facets of acheivements are overall-ranked, too.

Overall game setup and design reminds me a LOT of amorphous.

I was

...so bad at this I can't really give a definitive score based on gameplay, but I certainly liked the concept and repspect the time you spent thinking out the puzzles. It could've done with some fancy graphics or lighting effects; no matter how much effort goes into something, usually it takes something snazzy looking to cap the deal.

That's all I can offer in the way of any feedback, really.
