very fun, but

but
but but

-the principle gameplay gimmick is the slot machine really, and it falls flat because most of the bonus attacks are too mediocre to be worth putting so much effort into winning - they need to be spectacular screen-wipers and not just 6 standard missiles or similar.

honestly

Why would anyone ever want to leave Amsterdam for Birmingham? That is the worst idea in the history of the world.

Birmingham is great! Seriously though, perhaps you could have reviewed the game?

oh mannn

The game itself is highly mediocre and unoriginal, but Alien Trilogy music and SFX? Stop playing with my heart!

aaaarrrrghhh

If this game had 30 levels instead of 10 it would earn that extra point. I am left salivating for more.

the

-absolute main thing that would make this better is a wide variety of vomiting sound effects.

I actually quite like this game - it's smooth, very playable, simple, has a reasonable power up/down system as well as the environmental modifiers, and is overall just the kind of thing you could load up and play anytime to waste a couple of minutes. Plus you made it harder than the actual original Pong, and holy shit, it sure is difficult; but in the best kind of way. It doesn't leave you frustrated, only determined.

As a side note, I liked the electronics-style graphics theme, too.

My only gripe is that you have to go through not only the sluggish-ass Mochigames scoreboard system, but a video ad as well just to play another game. That's really damn annoying, don't do that.

powerful and moving

The narrative following this game is shocking but gripping - this heartfelt call to arms against the horrific situation Echo's people and other aquatic neighbors face against the cruel ignorance of the human race and their destructive and selfish habits really struck a chord with me - it was so sad to see Echo's young daughter suffocated by discarded fishing twine, and Echo's rape at the hands of criminal Orcas in the dangerous water she was forced to migrate through; I've been truly moved to tears from the stark and gritty way that the terrible plight of Echo and her kind has been presented. Not since Watership Down has there been a more eye-opening presentation on the state of animal cruelty and habitat destruction in the world today.
Echo's eventual arrival in the idyllic Sunshine Reef is a major relief for me - but what wil become of the corrupt cost-cutting governor and hasty plans for an off-shore oil-rig? Somehow I imagine that Echo's story is far from over.

This game has inspired me to do my part to prevent global warming - after I post this review I will recycle my computer and monitor, then shoot myself in the head to prevent further damage to nature.
