one fatal flaw

The keyboard was just not the fucking medium best fitted to control this game.

FetusFulp responds:

why not? it works just fine.

this has been

One of my favourite games for literal years, since 2006 at least I'm sure. Nothing would make me happier than to see it expanded.

christ

This is by far the most streamlined, eye-friendly and techincally pleasing build 'dem/dress 'em I've seen for time immemorial.

I was about to slam 'Still Alive' on but the remix popped up before I even could, and that sealed the deal for me.

I'm

A little conflicted over this one. For a change, there is actually a small but nice treasure trove of concise and relevant information to flash semi-beginners, you outsource that basic-basics like the timeline and various other tabs to links, and leave the main body of the tutorial to the flash itself. One thing that irks me extrmely (and does with almost all other tutorial makers) - you iddn't display your skill, or even utilise your own basic advice. There's no music, no graphics, no examples of code in action, no basic animation examples and the links aren't even in a different color to the text. It makes it feel boring and rushed, and doesn't capture your attention or dedication at all. If you're gonna honour flash by making a tutorial on its unlockable wonders, then at least do it a basic courtsey by making it look neat. Not doing so makes you looks as if you aren't qualified to write a tutorial at all.

aaaargh

I seem to get...a padlock. It's a high quality padlock, but I can't do anything about it. I don't think I can play this thing.

JGOware responds:

Hi! yah...stoopid me. I found the bug. When you can, maybe check it out again? Thanks, take care. :)

enjoyable!

I like this plenty. It's fairly fast-paced, and it has a nice movement design and allows you do a lot of things you just couldn't do with any other blood parasite.

Most of your difficulty seems to come from claustrophobia; most of the harder environments scarecly allow you to jump, and that's good with me. The flea is fast in pretty much every way, so this only makes the levels feel 'panickier'.

The coins are interesting; no matter at what actual cost to my score I would obsessively hoard the things and replay a level several times to get them. Seems to be related to 'acheivement disorder'.

I have one major gripe about this game though, and it's a biggie: everyone knows there's no animal alive that can double-jump, let alone suspend itself in the air indefinately with its frantic litte legs. If you try hard enough to discount that though, you find a very playable game.

gross fun

I certainly liked this, it's a nice little 'chain reaction' game with some good splatter effects. It's pretty small so I can't go into deeper detail, but either way, I had some fun.

redundant comment ahead

Fix the fuckin' jumping response.

I started this game and I was impressed, then I actually tried getting anywhere and realised the controls were totally broken. The graphics, sound, music are all near-superb as far as I can tell, too bad I didn't actually get to see much of them. Makes me sad.

I just

Fucking love this thing. It's NOT HARD, it requires dedicated practice and a little prior knowledge of what's coming up like most classic-style sidescrolling games, nothing else. It took me a couple of hours solid play to complete it, and I loved every minute. In fact, I bought this for PS2 later but my copy was used and scratched, which is a huge shame because it's fucking wonderful fun. If only I had XBL Marketplace.

hahaha

Nice parody on a good classic. In the first few seconds I barely realised I was moving.
