cogs, cogs everywhere

do any of them actually do ANYTHING at ALL

those comics

were never even slightly funny and so by extension neither is this

but on artistic merit alone it is pretty much just more middling photoshop art with painting-style shading and nothing noteworthy about the perspective or background, posing, etc.

I think this would've benefited from an elaborate stained-glass style design behind it because that's where you see saints posed like this 95% of the time

tttttt

well the character art is pretty fair but your terrible ravishing of the blur filter in both the foreground and background actually makes me feel physically queasy

if you ask me you should try to draw the impression of something moving without using shoddy digital aids next time

PS. I think that right leg should've been a bit straighter and more vertical by the time it hit that water, he'd look downright silly running with legs that far apart

Walkingpalmtree responds:

Ah will do. Thanks for the critique! I really need it more.
Yes I'm not real happy with the legs either. That's the only thing that really bugs me a lot.

well

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I suppose but I'm sure there must be a more creative and respectful way to express your devotion to the two series than by just directly emulating one of the original comic strips and just replacing CB and his fellows with auxiliary star wars characters

kevinbolk responds:

That is a more than fair criticism, though I can assure you more thought went into it than that.

if you keep on sketching

girls like this so often I wouldn't be surprised if in a few months you found it physically impossible to draw any kind of human form of any gender without giving it perfectly pert breasts and giant hips due to the fine motor function sections of your brain being trained into drawing those exact shapes all the time

rtil responds:

why do you care

this is the best advice I could possbily give you:

'hai' is a really retarded thing to write, don't do that ever again

oh also don't add a frivolous number of sketchy-looking crease lines to features like the ears and chin when drawing in an otherwise simple format, it looks pretty silly to contrast your style in that way so just use as little lines as practically possible on art like this

ALSO ALSO don't use diagonal lines to represent shaded areas as well as actual solid colors, that looks all messy and confusing so just pick one style and stick to it throughout

@@@@@

thies responds:

Okay? :p.. I find it quite funny that he says hai, just because it's so retarted. Yeah you're right about the line shading, it didn't come out very well.

Thanks for the review.

it reminds me very much of

magnified plankton which is pretty neat

gleegleep responds:

Yeah, magnified plankton's pretty cool. Thanks! :D :D

uhh

there isn't any sound in space without a sufficient molecular density for the vibrations to travel through properly

all you would really hear and feel is pure bass through your arms and up the suit then an incredibly faint tone as the vibration waves travel into the gas inside the helmet and that totally sucks when you're playing a twangy-ass electric guitar that isn't even plugged in to an amplifier or anything

science ruins EVERYTHING, dudes should've listened to the 18th century romantics before it all got out of hand

TheShadling responds:

Youre quite the smartster arent you.

ghf

I thought this piece would be about the semi-obscure web browser, Flock.
